MY LIFE

I have spent my life learning, traveling, growing, and helping others. I had the privilege of growing up an “Air Force Brat” which allowed me the opportunity to live and travel in the United States and abroad. As an educator and school counselor, I continued to explore new places, cultures, and people, living and working in both Germany and the United States. When I returned to Austin, I began working in the music industry. This varied experience allows me to bring my clients an open, accepting, judgement-free environment to explore their lives.

WHO I HELP

I have experience working with adults and couples. I pride myself in offering judgement-free, confidential therapy to anybody motivated enough to take that step. I believe that in life, there is always more to learn. I learn from my clients everyday, and I love to help my clients learn from me how to lead a more positive and productive life.

INDIVIDUALIZED APPROACH

I specialize in helping people experiencing life changes, loss, anxiety, and a variety of other situations and struggles. I believe in a person-centered approach to therapy; drawing on my diverse background and aspects of cognitive behavior therapy, family systems, mindfulness and creative endeavors (art, storytelling, music and literature) to help my clients. I work with:

  • Parenting

  • Co-dependency

  • Special Needs

  • School Issues

  • Military Experiences

  • Career Counseling

  • Anxiety

  • Depression

  • Relationships

  • Life Transitions

  • Grief and Loss

  • Pet Bereavement
